Place doors and windows on walls. Adjust width, offset and door swing.

Columns & structural notes

Position, size and rotate columns. Keep structural observations on the plan.

Precise measurements

Record dimensions, ceiling heights and floor elevations in millimetres.

Photo-linked annotations

Attach photos to measured locations and keep the evidence with your project.

FIELD GUIDE

A clear survey, step by step.

  1. Draw full screen. The canvas fills the window. Project opens level settings, Export opens delivery options and Workspace returns to the overview. F toggles canvas mode. Panels can be closed to keep drawing.
  2. Draw quickly with numbers. Choose Wall and tap a start point, or choose a compass direction to start at the origin. Type digits or tap Enter length: the numeric panel opens on the right. Enter / Add wall draws that exact length. Choose among eight directions, turn off the 45° lock for free angles, use +10/+50/+100/+500, or set a custom direction. Rectangle draws four walls in one action. Close loop joins back to the run start; the centreline area of a simple closed run is shown while that run is active. The + marker at a wall midpoint opens precise length editing.
  3. Create a project and levels. Set the address, floor elevation and ceiling height in millimetres. Projects save automatically on this browser.
  4. Sketch the walls. Click or tap the start and end of each wall. Consecutive walls connect automatically. For a curve, tap its two ends then a third point to set the bend. Escape or tap Select to finish a run.
  5. Use your site measurements. Select a wall and edit its measured length, angle and thickness. Curves use chord length and a separate bend. Connected endpoints follow length edits.
  6. Add openings and columns. Tap near a wall to place a door or window. Edit width and offset along the wall. Curved openings follow the wall tangent. Place a column and set its size and position.
  7. Measure and document. Measure uses two points. Add a note, choose Room, Electrical, Plumbing or another category, and attach photos. Photos are resized to 1600 pixels for practical field storage.
  8. Navigate. Pan with the Pan tool, middle mouse or two fingers. Pinch / wheel to zoom; Fit shows the current level. Shortcuts: V select, W wall, C curve, D door, N window, O column, M measure, P note, H pan. Ctrl/Cmd+Z undo; Delete removes the selected element.
  9. Export before leaving. Export project + photos is the editable backup. SVG/PNG export the current level. Print / PDF produces a report for every level with notes and photos; choose Save as PDF in the browser print dialog.

Beta test: local storage only; no multi-user sync, CAD/BIM export or SketchUp import yet. Export backups regularly. Clearing browser data removes local projects. The workspace can reopen offline after its first successful load.
